THE HOME-COMING KING

He might not be one of immaculate reputation but like the saying goes "Monkey no fine but im mama like am". Timaya's Home-Coming concert was truly a first class concert. And indeed it was a show of love and support from Timaya to his fans and vice versa. People came out in tons to witness the event ushering in the launch of Timaya's third album "The Rebirth".

And the support from fellow big wigs in the industry was quite overwhelming. Timaya brought in various chart-topping acts for an experience the folks of Yenegoa in Bayelsa would cherish for a long time. Acts like MI, Durella, Terry G, Kefee, Omawumi, Faze, Djinee, Dr Sid, comedians I Go Die and Gandoki and a host of others graced the occasion, making it one helluva night.

The highlight of the evening was Timaya's performance as he took turns on stage with various acts from MI to Kefee and his crew, Dem Mama Soldiers. Another marvelous performance was that of Faze. This dude got on stage and turned the place upside down. Who would have known he had such a fan base in Yenegoa?

And last was Terry G's performance which coincidentally was scheduled to wrap up the event. Guess the organizers realized his energetic performance would definitely wear out everyone and he did not disappoint one bit. Well, except for the fact that after waiting for him the whole evening, he had his Ginja boys perform first which made some storm out of the building. But nonetheless everyone who stayed got a full dose of the Terry G they have been waiting for.
